Rotors are seldome discontenued even for older vehichles as there is a steady demand for them (GMC products in particular) calipers are sleeved and remanufactured. Also how many hunderd thousand miles are you going to drive your truck in a life time? I have rotors on a 77 dodge van that are still good after 200,000 miles! We tried to find a better or more modern rotor Unfortunatly nothing else fits between the knuckle and the 16" rim.
