Opinions vary, but my idea of a good PW engine swap is a 318 or 360 Mopar. A few have stuffed in a 440.

I think an early Red Ram Hemi would really be the cat's meow.

Others say small block Chev.. Chevi.. Che.. uh, Brand X, is the way to go.

Ray Suiter of Helitool has a very nice engine kit to drop a 360 into a PW. He may also have the 318 kit ready.
