We used to get this Mopar stuff in a cylindrical metal tube that sorta looked like chapstick. It was made just for windows and that sort of stuff. Maybe it was called Ruglyde but I'm not sure anymore. I'm sure the guys at your local Mopar shop could sell you a tube of it. I think one tube lasted about a lifetime.
