i think bedliner on anything except new factory paint is not ideal. you'd be better off doing a real good cleanup, epoxy prime and paint that can be touched up later. you should also investigate adding drain holes in low spots if there are any. rubber mats on the traffic areas are good if there is no place to for water to sit.
