The leaves are turning here in New England! I would tow it back to the shop where it would be more comfortable to work on it. Last thing you need it to do the swap, only to find a leaking freeze plug or cracked cooling jacket. Better to take your time and do it right the first time, than rush the job in the great outdoors after hauling every tool you own around.
