aaaron - i'm sorry for the confusion from my post. it should have gone under the guy holding an auction so he can keep his truck and his wife happy. I'm glad your wife has an appreciation for trucks and toys. My wife and kids love the command car. If I bought another truck or project, there would be no disharmony at home...
My grandfather used to tell a story about a boy, his grandfather and a donkey. he used to tell it in Italian. Anyway, the story goes that the three are traveling through the countryside with the old man riding and the boy leading the donkey. As they approach the first village, the town folks come out of the house yelling at the old man telling him how terrible he is for making the poor little boy walk. The yelling gets worse and they begin trowing rocks at the old man. The old man dismounts the donkey, puts the boy on and away they go in peace. As they arrive at the second town, the same thing happens except that the boy is the one yelled at for making his grandfather walk. To stop the yelling, both of them mount the donkey and quickly ride out of town. soon after, they approach a small stream and the donkey enters the water with both the boy and grandfather on his back. the donkey loses his footing and promptly drowns. The moral of the story is - WHEN YOU TRY TO PLEASE EVERYONE YOU LOSE YOUR ASS.
I feel sorry for anyone having to live under the self imposed rule of their spouse.
