It is a bolt in job, but not a particularly simple installation. By the book, it bolts to the back of the TC, and must be in perfect alignment. In my experience, that is not practical in the real world, and I moved mine back a couple of inches and made essentially a double cardan joint to mount between it and the TC which allows some angle between the 2 units. The rear driveshaft does need to be shortened no matter how you slice it!
