Early 46 dodges the 489 was standard with 750 16 tires the 489s were optional later on in 46 maybe early 47 the 583s were standard and the 489s were optuional. My Data tag origional on my sept 3 1941 WC!12 says 488 but I will check to see if you are correct in your interpetation of the Manual. Sincerly Mac who after 15 years of owning various M and w wc wdx trucks has apparently made a terrible mistake and incorrectly stated how the gear sets were set up in the Power Wagon I will also check my prteliminary Parts Manual for Power Wagons make sure of the gear ratios I would not want to frustarte you further.
