The carburetor model is only shown on the factory triangle shaped brass tag attached to one of the bowl screws. Most of the time these are missing. ET1, ET2, and ET4 carbs have the integral fuel filter and a large float. E7F1 and E7S1 carbs have the screw on Carter sediment bowl filter and a small float. The rest of the differences are minor between the models. There are two different rebuild kits that cover all models. However, I do not believe there is anyone out there who supplies either of the correct kits anymore. All the kits I have used in the past required making some of my own gaskets, modifying the accelerator pump, and keeping some of my old jets and springs.

The VPW kit is close, but no cigar.
