You're right about that. We didn't know until he was around 21, but Anthony was born with a problem in his lower back, where a sudden jolt could have allowed the backbone to slip and cut off the spinal cord. The doc bolted it together and after some rehab it's all good. He grew another 1/2" during surgery and is now 30 and 6'6". Amazing.
