92 cummins help

Hey guys,
I recently adjusted the tsp sensor on my 92 3/4ton cummins, but it seems I've gone to far and it won't shift into 4 gear even going 70mph. I've tried adjusting it back to where it was but to no avail. I'm new to this so do I have to drive it like it is until it resets its self or do I have to replace the tps? Thanks
