They're standed. Every road leading up to that area is gone. Frank came down from Stowe on Friday. Talked to him yesterday and he said they can't go anywhere. Most roads follow streams up the hills and sections hundreds of yards long are just gone and are now rivers. With no roads or bridges, crews cannot repair power or phone lines. Good thing there's cell phones. I'm planning on going up tomorrow night but have to make sure I can get there first. I'm not even sure what exit to take off 91. I know rt 131 off exit 8 is gone in many sections, and Rt 103 through Chester was detoured anyway due to new bridge construction the town. The covered bridge collapse you've seen on the news is lower Bartonsville which was one of the detours around Chester, so that route is not available. It's a real mess. But the rally site is intact! Although I guarantee our rally trail ride is gone. Might have to get Ned up there to shore up that bridge again, probably have to build a new one.
