All my loved ones are safe and dry!!!!!!
Clubhouse has wet carpet,(we kept the water pump going all night), my workshop is dry, driving the fire truck during the hurricane, was fun and furious last night at 3am(silly, I know).
I put big plywood boards on the large windows in my parents house on Friday, got many supplies from the store(food, batteries, water, to prepare for the storm.
The city is good. Subways and other trains will work in a few days. Some trees have fallen down, the water is high and some streets are closed due to floods. People moved to shelters. Some people forced by LAW to move out of their homes to safer areas. But, we are doing better than expected.
Just a taste of what some people go through every season. And they get it a lot worse.
Time to reflect and be thankful.
Time to remove the boards from my parents house!!!
