Brakes not releasing pressure?

I drove Blueberry to work today, a beautiful sunny day, with the top off, it was great! On the way home, I drove about 10 miles, and pulled into the bank. After doing my banking I went to leave, and I could tell right away I had a brake or brakes dragging. As I pulled out, it felt like I was dragging a big rock. I was about a quarter of a mile from a friends metal fab shop, so I got it there. By the time I got there, the brake pedal was hard as a rock. I took a wrench and cracked a rear bleeder, and brake fluid shot out. I then had normal pedal. I have heard of this happening when old rubber lines collapse inside, and hold the pressure, but this is all new lines, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. I did NOT mess with the push rod length. I have put about 250 miles on the truck since finishing the resto, and the brakes have been fine. Going the rest of the way home, the brakes worked fine.
Any pointers are appreciated!
Thanks,
Tim
