buy only pre 75. 75 to 79 is the absolute worst period in Dodge truck history for reliability. aluminum wiring, full time 4 wheel drive, rattle traps. the 72 to 74 models still retained the part time system of the earlier design. bullet proof. I might consider a 75 to 79 IF it was very low miles and at least a 3/4 ton. but it would have to be pristine.
