Re bend your trigger guard ?

The trigger guard usually needs a cleaning rod inserted in the hole at the rear to get enough leverage to unsnap the hook. Maybe your gun was dropped in the guard, bending it?

Only feed prob that would be spring related would be if the op rod spring is too strong, not allowing the bolt back far enough to pick up a fresh round from the mag. Or weak reloads, not pushing the bolt back far enough? Or maybe a gas piston prob, not enough power to push the bolt back far enough to feed?

Oh well, back to bedding my M14- that is what got me thinking about trigger guard springy-ness, hence this reply.
