I agree with the comments on a Farm/Truck shop will be a better fit than the auto tire shops if you want to keep the stock split ring wheels. Raben Tires in Cape should have no issues and I've had good luck with their Sikeston location.

For both Snow (the kind you get) and Ice you want you want a narrow tire. Taller tires will hurt some, but not as bad as the wider tires. For Ice, I've had great luck with the non-OEM tread BFG Rugged Trails. Back about 7-8 years ago when the big Ice storm moved through across the US and through Southern IL, I got caught in it, and was amazed how good the tires gripped the ice covered road in a 2WD truck.
