My 22' Trailer's Axle(s) are 9'8" from the back (center line of the two axles). The 60/40 rule would place them 8'9", while another rule I found placed them at 9'2".

I would not want them any further rearward, as the trucks set more on the rear of my trailer, than evenly placed. The 49 PW front bumper (w/w) is currently 46" from the front of the trailer, leaving only about 8" from the back of it to the rear edge of the trailer.

The weight of my 46 (wow) was 6120# (2940F/3650R) but that was with a 1/4" plate homemade wrecker bed.

The weight of my 49 (w/w) was 5570# (3200F/2370R) and has the stock pick-up bed.

If I run the math to put about 10% of the 49's weight on the tongue, I need the rear PW axle only 53" from the center of the trailer axles, I'm at about 56" as I'm currently loaded, so I could come a little further forward.
