Rocky, I answered an add on a van that had a fresh rebuild. Pulled the engine cover to find there were new spark plugs, then something caught my eye. There was a package in the engine compartment that had held some magic engine rebuild capsules. The instructions claimed that you just put them in the spark plug hole and run the engine until the cylinders and pistons are restored to like new.
I was glad the guy was sloppy enough to leave the package there. Ha ha there are all kinds of rebuilds out there. A friend got a beautifully painted Ford Flathead engine home from a swapmeet to find there were no rods or pistons in it and the block was cracked.
