Good idea, in theory.
A few years back I dribbled penetrating oil on that plug every day for a week or two, heated it as much as I dared warm the head, pushed on it until it was stripping the top, and gave up on that.
Recently did the head gasket. Should have oiled that plug from both sides while I had it open, but my instinct is that I'll have to drill and re-tap if I want that hole open. Doesn't seem worth.
Beast is running pretty good. Plan is to play with it this summer, then pull then engine out and attend to a few dozen details that will be much easier to get at.
