One of the trucks I drove was a 58 Mack with a gas flathead 6. I had to shift 8 times to get to 20mph!!. 5 speed main and a 4 speed aux. What a pig. Another reason I have no use for a flathead. Drove a stock CJ2A for 10 years. It at least had a Warn OD. Gar
