Yes the cast iron front bracket is 61 and up larger trucks. The smaller V8 trucks of that era have the engine mounted from the side.

The PG era V8 engines that I have seen were all mounted from the front on a stamped steel bracket like the one I showed, though there are different sizes for the different engines offered I think.

You swing by WI Rob and I will take you to a couple junkyards that have the part you need.

I attached a shot of one in a 1959 D300 a little over 2 hours from my house.
