I lost a friend several years ago- three weeks from an ER visit for a headache to the funeral. The tumor grew and caused pressure on the brain. No place for the brain to go. Too much pressure, no more blood flow to the brain. Quick is better at that point.
At that point, the hopes from all of us was that he make one more day of our monthly sail. He didn't.
