the bed is definitely a dodge bed, (NOT just the header panel) look closer at the bedsides, chevy beds did not have those embossings, also note the tailgate hinges, the fenders are hands down chevy fenders, but the rest of the bed is dodge!
As per; kaegi post about the data plate on the dash, that plate would indicate the truck that the cab and front clip came from had a 2 speed rear axle, (because we both know that is the 2 speed rear axle data/info plate) indicating the truck would have been a WHA or WGA, NOT a WH or WG.
I do agree though that the chassis is a 1/2ton WWII 4wd :)
