The rear has to have more travel to handle the weight of a full load. 90% of the load goes to the rear, only about 10% to the front. Simple to tell, where is the rear axle in relation to the center of the bed? Dead center would be all weight of load to rear, 10% rear ward will put 10% of the weight on the front.
