I replaced the dash in my townpanel, for drilling out the spots around the windshield I made my own spot cutter out of a 5/16 regular double ground fluted viking brand drill bit.
Just grind the cutting edge flatter leaving a little tit in the center for centering and run it slow as per Ron's advice. when you live out in the wilderness it saves many trips to town that way.
