I will offer FREE delivery to the Lee Rally if anyone is interested. I am not bringing this truck to the Rally unless it has been purchased. I will make a special trip to deliver it to the Rally, as I will be bringing my M37.
So, if you want to have a truck at the Rally, buy this one, and you will be all set!
Thanks,
Tim

I bought this truck last spring over the phone, as a parts truck. When I got home with it and had a chance to look it over, I came to the conclusion that it was not a parts truck, by a long shot. I put a rebuilt carb on it and drained the crud out of the fuel tank and blew out the fuel lines. and started it up. I replaced a section of brake line and bled the brakes, I replaced a universal joint and the slip section of the rear driveshaft. I haven’t done much with the wiring, but most of the electrical stuff works, headlights, heater, wipers, horn etc.

There was a fair amount of rust in the fenders and the step wells. I found a pair of patch panels for the fender tops and one for a side. Cut out all of the rot at the top hoods of the fenders all along the rear edges, several misc. spots which had rusted through, and welded in all new steel. Cut out both step wells and rebuilt both of them, putting in the ribs like original. The front cab mounts had been repaired by a previous owner. All sheetmetal repairs were primed and painted with a spray can, to preserve them. Most of the repairs received no filler, as I wasn't trying to conceal what was done, just to get it solid. With a bit of filler the repairs will disappear.

I replaced the rotted or missing sideboards and missing hardware.
The winch does work and has a good amount of cable.
The interior is decent.
The headliner is in very good shape, the seat is the original cover, it is worn out under the driver, there are no door panels.

All gauges and most switches are original and functional.
Glass is good with exception of one cracked side window.
This truck runs and drives, but does need some work to get it really roadworthy.
The window winders need attention and the drivers door latch works but is worn.
The engine sometimes smokes at the passenger side manifold on startup. I suspect an oil leak.
The steering wheel is not centered when driving straight.
Lights that are not working will need to be fixed.
