I am thankful every day. My wife bought me two of the trucks I have. She recommends tools to buy and volunteers to help use them. And she does appreciate that most all of my trips to town are to the parts house...
Dirty fingernails are another matter entirely. It's a good thing that washing dishes keeps them clean!
