Greg,
I had my tonsils removed about 2 years ago. I didn't get out of bed for a week, had NOTHING to eat for a week and about 3 weeks before I even thought of going to work again.
I have had a broken nose, 2 knee surgeries, and a bunch of other things that I would gladly go thru at the same time rather than do the tonsil surgery again.
I feel (remember) your pain.
