I think you could independent spring the wdx and reinforce the frame and do a twin screw,
if you have a spare rear axle you could always just turn it upside down which would put it on the other side of the frame and put it behind the stock one and run the drive line to it, since it is farther away the angle of the dangle would be about the same as the front rear axle of the bogie
you would have to turn the backing plates back to right side up unless they work upside down
