rick - nice install. perfect fit on a m37. if it is a true bypass, with a better filter than stock, it should be a viable option for those wanting a spin on or a good alternative when the supply of filters for our canisters dry up. your link + searching out the bracket on google led me to the cummins forum, where a guy used that bracket, a modified oil return to a through oil fill cap and oil supplied from a removed plug on the stock oil filter boss. it was all done with braided stainless hoses. should be a factory option on the dodges. not to go too far afield, but there is now a spin on filter that has a high flow AND bypass element in a single unit. it replaces the stock filter and does 2 jobs. cummins uses them in kubota tractors supposedly good success.
