The best head was the latest, highest casting number. The tighter fit made the combustion chamber closer to the piston, as well as breath better. Casting number 1676337, 57-59
I own three engines right now, all have head # 1311804, which wss 42-56 There is also a 14xxxxx head.
And the 218 heads were small, high comp on a 230.
