good points about th ratios but an 11.00 x 16 does not wiegh as much as a 9.00 x 16 bias ply. the sid ewall of an 8 ply bias tire is 4 times as thick as the very thin walled radial 11.00 x 16. the heaviest set up of all is by far the WW2 combat rim with bead lock. I have run the 11.00s offroad a whole bunch and on the highway at max speeds and never broke an axle or had stopping problems.
