engine runs rough

I know this has been beaten to death but I have a question in regards to the engine running with the choke out. I have gone though through Joe's archives an this is what I have come up with. My m37 needs about an inch of choke or it wont run at low RPM or high. It runs and drives great this way. Can I just leave it alone and just drive with an inch of choke without hurting anything??
