I know I rebuilt the fuel pump on both Sno-Cats and the telephone truck, but I can't remember if I did it on this M37, which was my first army truck and first 230. It's a modern-looking pump, kind of skimpy in size compared to the real old ones, but it does come apart with screws so it's rebuildable. The M37 came with a civilian engine, carb, and fuel pump, and a 6V starter and generator. I run 12 volts now. I'll pull the pump tomorrow and see what's wrong. Would rather have a mechanical pump, but would also rather have a truck that doesn't stop when I need it to go. Glad it didn't quit in the middle of the river with the floor boards awash!
