That is the same info we got on our midrange trucks. At 100k miles they recommended removing the G1 from the transmissions and replacing it with 50wt synthetic. That happened at about the time we lost the input bearing. don't know if the G1 was too heavy or we had a bad bearing. That was early this spring and no trouble now. Seems like 100k was early for a bearing to go. It ate up the cage and we caught it before bad things happened.
