Examine the photo closely. Notice the position of the rider's body - low and slightly forward, balls of the feet planted firmly on the foot pegs - resulting in optimal weight transfer between the front and rear wheels. Observe the perfect ratio of traction-to-wheelspin, indicated by the ever so slight rooster tail from the Metzeler motivating at the business end and the altitude of the Dunlop at the steering end, lofted precisely 3.5 inches from terra firma - the slight squat to the rear suspension, the Bilsteins having reaching an equilibrium in opposition to the whiplash of the engine torque relentlessly transmitted through the swingarm - all indicative of clean, efficient, maximum acceleration. Note the nearly parallel relationship between the rider's right wrist and forearm indicating judicious application of throttle leaving plenty of reserve powerband available in waiting for the next cog to get slammed home - the left index finger feathering the clutch with the skill of a heart surgeon. Note the slight curvature to the spine - the telltale sign that the rider has committed to his rise from the seat and into the aggressive, knees-bent, chin-over-the-handlebars, flat-out, competitive, take no prisoners, fluid racing stance. Notice the determined concentration with eyes focused keenly upon the next obstacle - the holeshot to the first turn and the off-cambered, downhill, triple camelback immediately following - the spanked competition left only to digest todays spent Bel-Ray/aviation fuel/mix and to contemplate tomorrows Beng.a.y.

The rider is obviously a seasoned pro. A svelt bearded young man on a Husqvarna. What do you think Martie? Brad Lackey? Heikke Mikkola?
