It appears that you have the correct winch rear angle for your truck and the truck's frame does not appear to be sprung apart. If it were, you would be having problems with the spring shackles binding. It would be pretty hard to spring it that far anyway being only a few inches from the crossmember. Is the crossmember still firmly rivited to the frame rails? Some of these were even welded with a bead between the top of the frame rail and the top surface of the crossmember.
If you can provide accurate dimensions, we may be better able to help. What is the exact distance from center of hole to center of hole between the frame rails? What is the exact distance from center of hole to center of hole on the winch rear angle? It appears that one or the other has been modified.
