Since the back of the Town Wagon is curved, and that bumper is straight, once you have the bumper in place and the doors start to open they may not open enough to allow easy loading.
Plus the doors might get in the way of the mechanism?
The lift you have sounds like the second one I pictured, which would be perfect I think.
Do you know the brand and model of the one you have?
