Hello all,
I know this is a Dodge site, but I figure I still can rack your brains con cerning my Bros. Jeep. I have a WC-12 by the way. The problem he is having with the motor is as follows. Runs great from cold start until about 5 minutes of running. Then a sqealing sound is heard coming from the front of the engine. We have removed the fan belt and the sound is still there. Have remove the fuel pump and the sound is still there. The Jeep guys think it is too much end play on the crankshaft. The oil pressure is good, the compression is good and the vacum is good. The plugs are not oil fouled or sooty. Any Ideas. Thanks for any advice. It has a Willys block with a Ford GPW head.
