But it looks like I'll need a way to drive the tap if i want to do the install in chassis. Something like a 7/16" square drive socket for the end of a universal, then a long extension. I'll look for a 3/8" 12 point.
I think in a 1/2t, you can just lift up the floor board?
Plug removal- drive a center punch into it until it gets a crack. Hook anydamnthing in the crack, the plug will fall out. Maybe a magnet? Hit the punch just enough to loosen the plug. The magnet will be a good idea to pick up the chips from tapping too.
I built in a circuit when I did the wiring harness, I think I even have bulbs in the lights. Might need to snap in a fuse.
