Well, I went down to visit my '47 today and to get some stuff of it and a '47 2wd to use on my '50. Plus, I hadn't given the ticks much of a chance to eat me alive much this year, so today seemed as good a day as any. I came home with a back glass, glove box door, passenger's side windshield glass, driver's side wiper motor cover, and six ticks. I'm going back tomorrow to see what else I can scavenge up. I am going to TRY to get the passenger's side "wiper" cover, glove box door hinges, and a Dakota seat for it. Here are my questions: 1) are the vacuum wiper motors even worth trying to take home with me? My '50 has aftermarket electric ones that don't really even work good enough to drive with. 2) how do the glove box hinges come out? 3) how do the dash gauges come out? 4) how do I remove the windshield popout and fresh air assemblies? And, last but not least, does anyone have a driver's side windshield glass they'd sell? I'd actually prefer one that is a little cloudy around the edges over a like-new one. It'd match the other glass in the truck better. Thanks a lot, guys!
