I think it is a VERY good idea to start thinking seriously about next year's Rally. The 25th Rally will come only once. Once it passes by, that's it. We will not have a second chance at a 25th. I already have my hotel reservations for next year. Now is the time to start putting the bug in your employer's ear, letting your customers know, your spouse, your daughter who may be getting married next June, or whomever.

We have tried a LOT of events over the years. One of the more popular ones was the truck pull. It does require commitment from someone local who owns an antique tractor pulling sled and the gods of dry weather.

I have been tossing around an idea of something I MAY be able to do next Rally. I have three Newgren plows that are correct for my Monroe Lift equipped WDX; a single bottom general purpose base, a two bottom slat base for sticky soils, and a three bottom Forgy base for hard soils. Demonstrating these plows in use behind my truck would require about 5 acres of clear farmland with good drainage and minimal stubble and a sizable amount of time and effort before hand from the landowner so I could get in there and practice before the Rally. I think it would be neat to also have available a two bottom trail-behind plow that anyone with a drawbar hitch or pintle could hook up to and try out with their own truck.

Yea's or Nea's. I would like to hear opinions before making contacts.

Junior
