A buddy of mine stumbled across a '58 Sweptside with a 315 Hemi the other day at work. He spoke with the owner who said it has been sitting in the same spot for going on 30 years and is receptive to selling it. Anyone have a ballpark figure for what to offer?
Here are a few more tidbits:
Body is in fair shape. Very little rust and a few good dings and scraped.
Motor may be locked up. He didnt have anything to turn it with but the belts were rotted and he tore them off to try by hand....no dice.
Tail light lenses are broken. I hear they are the same as a '56 Desoto wagon.
Interior is complete but will need a seat/recover.
