While o.s. in England, visited the Churchill Bunker in London and was given an enhanced view of WWII and what really went on UNDERneath London at Churchill's HDQTR's. Only one of many THX to the U.S. who went over when WWII started and taught the Brits how to add enough cement on top of the bunker to keep it safe from Nazi bombs. Did learn Churchill was one heck of a smart leader who worked closely with the U.S. to win the War.

While inside the Bunker, there was a sound effect of a total dive bomber that was LOUD from start of dive to last part of the dive and it hit nerve that made me realize what went on in WWII. What a thought of something like that actually happened. There were MANY quotes etc. on the wall and one caught my attention: "Churchill attacked his Government's failure to deal firmly with a dictator." Interesting even in today's world, eh?
