I know a guy who hauls cheaper than anyone else. I wouldn't trust his equipment to go 25 miles and he goes coast to coast at times. Sometimes he makes it there, other times he breaks down, alot... He always seems to have an empty wallet and is barely getting by. Oh, the stories I could tell about his antics! He deals in parts, too, and has gotten himself banned from nearly all Mopar websites for poor business deals. He likes to tell folks he has the parts they need, get the money, and then hit the junkyards looking for the parts. Sometimes it works, sometimes he just keeps the money and lets you hang. I used to sell him some parts that he "really needed to fix a truck" as he is a friend of a friend but every part I sold him was quickly on Craigslist or elsewhere for sale. I told him to quit screwing folks and he would have better business and he quit calling me. There is a post on a forum about him getting a truck from a friend of his in CA and then not paying him the $1300 he owes the guy....for years now.
I've never met Jim yet and he may charge a little more for better service and good care of your pride and joy---but he seems to have happy customers!
