If Norm has any input/sway as a member of the Chrysler advisory panel, I trust he has told them this.
Whether they listen or not is a different question.
As you suggest, many people buy Dodge/Ram for the engine, not the vehicle.
If they drop Cummins, there would be a large sucking sound when people bail on Dodge for Ford or Chevy.
