Neither one of these two carbs has a real advantage over the other as long as each is clean and the internal parts are not worn out. As I said, the governor can be swapped between the carbs so you can use whichever governor is in the best condition with which ever carb you wish.

The governor actually has a bigger bigger influence on the performance of the carb than one might think. It does not matter how good of condition the carb is in, if the governor springs are worn out, missing, or badly adjusted, you will not get the carb to perform or operate properly. As you push on the accelerator pedal, you are not forcing the throttle plate to open. You are only moving a stop out the way that then allows the governor to open the throttle plate per its settings.
