Hi Nick,
The ones that hit the crossmember are for the WC half tons. A correct one will not hit.
I looked at my parts rigs, and found one with an intact cowl vent mechanism. We are 4 inches of rain past the record, every time I go to pull it, its raining! This week is looking good though.
