I'd have to agree with ChrisCase here. I used United Abrasives Brite Strip discs. They are black in color and some sort of intertwined plastic. The BEST thing about them is they remove paint the same from start to finish. They do NOT plug up and run way cooler than 40 or 50 grit discs. I had up to 9 laters on mine and 2 were brushed on. It took them done in a hurry and was well pleased with the results.

I do have a bigger sandblaster and have tried both and I prefer the discs. My normal routine was to take the flatter/open areas down with the discs, then blast the nooks and crannies and LIGHTY hit the flat stuff on an angle for better adhesion. Do wear a mask as you don't need to be breathing ANY of this stuff.
